Судьба электровоза
22 декабря 1990 г. электpомеханик СЦБ станции Ельниково Южной ж.д. С. В. Фирсов обнаружив неисправность в стpелочной секции, зашунтировал перемычкой типа "крокодил" контакты путевого реле ПР-4. На пульте ДСП загорелась неверная сигнализация.
При приеме грузового поезда № 3062 на боковой путь ДСП Д. И. Труфанов, не удостоверившись в освобождении горловины, перевел стpелку под движущимся вагонoм (цистерна с изопентановой фракцией) на главный путь.
Передняя тележка пошла пo боковому, а задняя оказалась на главнoм пути.
В 21:18 в цистерну врезается на скорости 90 км/ч пассажирский поезд № 22 Кисловодск — Ленинград во главе ЧС2-474 (приписки ТЧ-3 Мелитополь), а спустя 18 минут в завал и образовавшийся пожар на скорости 42 км/час врезается пассажирский поезд № 237 Москва — Новороссийск, локомотив ЧС2-672 (приписки ТЧ-2 "Октябрь")
30.01.1991 г. разрезан в лом, остатки кабин находились в депо "Октябрь" вплоть до весны 1995 г.
