Русский: Стародубский краеведческий музей - расположен в бывшей усадьбе Миклашевских на углу ул. Краснооктябрьской (б. Красной) и ул. Луначарского (б. Бульварной). С именем дворян Миклашевских, крупнейших землевладельцев Стародубского уезда связана история города. В конце 17 века полковник Михаил Андреевич Миклашевский владел несколькими усадьбами в городе, продавал и покупал дворы, огороды, покосы. Сохранившийся особняк был построен в начале 19 века (предположительно). В 1870 году перестроен. В послевоенное время здесь размещалась столовая детского дома.
English: The Local History Museum of the City of Starodub, Russia, - is located in the former Miklashevsky estate. The town's history is connected with the name of the noble family of Miklashevsky, the largest landowners of the Starodub district. At the end of the 17th century, Colonel Mikhail Andreyevich Miklashevsky owned several estates in the town and sold and bought yards, vegetable gardens, and mowings. The preserved mansion was built in the early 19th century (presumably). In 1870 it was rebuilt. In the post-war period, it housed the canteen of the orphanage.
