Українська: Опис події за 945 рік в Повісті временних літ: «Деревляни... найлуччих мужів відібрали, що держать Деревськую землю, і послали за нею. І коли прийшли [у Київ] деревляни, Ольга мовницю велить їм зготувати і рече таке: «Вимиєтесь — прийдете до мене». Їм мийню добре натопили і, забравшись в неї, деревляни стали митись і заперли мийню за ними, і палить її від дверей звеліла [Ольга], і там всі вони згоріли».
English; The description of the event for the year 945 [AD] in the Tale of Timeless Years: "Derevlyani... selected the best men who held Derevskaya land and sent them to her. And when [to Kyiv] those Derevlyani had arrived, Olga ordered a sauna to be prepared for them and said thus: "Wash yourselves - arrive before me." For them the sauna was well heated and, gathered in it, the derevlyani began washing themselves, and sauna was locked behind them, and setting it on fire at the doors ordered [Olga], and there all of them burned."
