English: 3rd Belorussian Front: Signalmen of the 252nd Guards Rifle Regiment (83rd Guards Rifle Division) lay a telephone line between the regimental commander Colonel V.M. Yablokov's command post and that of a rifle battalion commander in the vicinity of Gumbinnen.
