Тригорский Спасо-Преображенский Чудновский мужской православный монастырь основан в 1583 г. князем Владимиром Житомирским. Для святой обители князь определил уединённое место посреди густой дубравы на высоком берегу р. Тетерев. В XVIII в. монастырь перешёл к униатам, но в 1839 г. был возвращён православной церкви. Монастырь компактный и уютный, состоит только из лаконичной Преображенской церкви (1854-73 гг.) и келийного корпуса (1782 г.)
