Поганкины палаты — каменное жилое, складское и производственное здание, построено в 1670-е гг. Памятник истории и культуры федерального значения. Ныне одно из изданий Псковского историко-художественного и архитектурного музея-заповедника. Сегодня в здании Поганкиных палат располагаются несколько экспозиций, богатством которых может похвастаться редкий музей! Своим собранием живописи древнего Пскова, которая представлена произведениями иконописи 14-17 веков. Псковская школа живописи уже давно признана совершенно самобытным художественным явлением Древней Руси.
