Description
Русский: Памятник Соловецким юнгам в районе Северное Измайлово установлен, чтобы увековечить память юных моряков, которые были выпускниками Соловецкой школы юнг и не побоялись во время войны отправиться на фронт. Единственная в стране школа юнг была открыта в мае 1942-го на Соловках. За годы войны она выпустила 4,5 тысячи ребят, четверть из которых погибли на фронте. Многие из воспитанников школы юнг впоследствии стали морскими офицерами и даже адмиралами.
