Русский: Возгонка (сублимация) — это переход вещества из твердого состояния в газообразное, минуя жидкую фазу. При обычных условиях йод представляет собой металлический порошок, который при сильном нагревании образует фиолетовые пары – газообразный молекулярный йод, который при охлаждении оседает на поверхности колбы в виде игольчатых кристаллов. Нелетучие примеси остаются на дне колбы. English: Sublimation (sublimation) - is the transition from solid to gas, bypassing the liquid phase.
