Summary
English: Species of Verbascum, Southeastern Bulgaria. After extensive cross-check, I've reached the conclusion that it is Verbascum crenatifolium Boiss. Additional details for my reasoning can be found in the Bulgarian description of the file. For me, it is obvious (if my ID is correct) that V. crenatifolium Boiss cannot be simply a synonym of V. ovalifolium. It is clearly at least a distinct subspecies, if not a separate species. It is within the realm of possibility, that my identification is partially or completely incorrect. |
