Description Ловешката крепост се намира на хълма Хисаря в квартал Вароша на град Ловеч. Тя е построена от римляните и е използвана като римска станция на важно пътно кръстовище. За строежа й са използвани естествените форми на околните скали с цел да се направи труднодостъпна. Основите са изградени върху скала, което при обсада било предимство, защото било невъзможно основите й да се подкопаят.
