Description
Русский: Это карта составлена Мартыном Шпанбергом как результат работы экспедиции Шестакова - Павлуцкого в 1730-1731 годах. Карту Шпанберг рисовал по журналу Федорова и по материалам предоставленным геодезистом Гвоздевым. Уникальность карты в том, что на ней впервые изображен Берингов пролив.На карте отчетливо видна западная часть полуострова Сьюард, оканчивающаяся мысом Принца Уэльского, а американский берег имеет очертания, очень сходные с теми, что показаны на современных картах. Только островов Диомида показано не 2, а 3 - вероятно по ошибке Шпанберга.
