Русский: ЗНАКИ РАЗЛИЧИЯ ГЕРМАНСКОЙ АРМИИ (Воениздат НКО СССР 1941 год) Изд. Народный комиссариат обороны СССР Москва 23 июля 1941. (Г-23. б. 41. Воениздат И-1769. Подписано в печать 23/VI 1941 г. Напечатано в 1-й художественной литографии Наркомпише-прома СССР.)
  • Справочник „Знаки различия германской армии" составлен на основании аналогичных справочников, издаваемых в Германии для широкого пользования с учетом последних изменений. Он дает знаки различия рядового и офицерского состава германской армии только в полевом обмундировании.
Для понимания этих знаков нужно усвоить основные цвета, присвоенные каждому роду войск (за исключением авиации).
Цвет, присвоенный тому или другому роду войск, носится в виде окантовки погона, фуражки, а также в виде двух полосок на петлице мундира. На парадной форме, кроме того, окантовывается воротник, борт н обшлага мундира.
  • Цвета, присвоенные родам войск, следующие:
1. белый - пехота
2. Зеленый - горные войска
3. Красный - артиллерия
4. Розовый - танковые войска
5. Голубой - автотранспортные войска
6. Золотисто-желтый - кав. полки
7. Лимонно-желтый - связь
8. бордово-красный - хим. части
9. Черный - сап. батальоны
Изучая эти знаки различия, нужно иметь в виду, что полевые части очень часто будут иметь петлицу воротника без расцветки по родам войск цвета серого серебра.

Plates showing caps (peaked/visor caps, German: Schirmmützen, side caps, Schiffchen, etc.), cap badges (military style national emblem, Hoheitszeichen, Hoheitsadler, Wehrmachtsadler, German imperial eagle-and-swastika, Reichsadler des Dritten Reiches, cap eagle, Mützenadler, cockade and oak leaf wreath, Eichenlaubkranz mit Kokarde), helmet decals (Helmabzeichen), collar tabs (gorget patches, Kragenspiegel, Kragenpatten, Litzen), shoulder boards/straps (Achselstücke, Schulterklappen), 'breast eagles' on uniforms (Brustadler), sleeve bagdes (Ärmelabzeichen), etc. of the Wehrmacht, the armed forces of Nazi Germany.
