Построен в 1933 г. В 1932 г. в СССР для работы на Сурамском перевале Закавказской ж.д. поступили 8 электровозов С, построенных американской фирмой Дженерал Электрик. Заводы Коломенский и <Динамо> построили в 1932-1934 гг. 21 аналогичный электровоз Сс (Сурамский советский) Эти локомотивы стали первым типом магистрального электровоза на железных дорогах СССР. С 1950-х гг. электровозы оснащались новым электрооборудованием и получали индекс <м> (модернизированный). Собственность Центрального музея железнодорожного транспорта РФ. Поступил из депо Пермь-П Свердловской ж.д.
