Summary
English: The space images Landsat show the process of filling the Dnipro and Pripyat rivers with water during the spring freshet (water is identified by its rich blue color). At the bottom of the space images, we see the Kiev reservoir into which the Pripyat River flows to the left and the Dnipro River to the right. In the far left space images, we see that in April 2005 the Dnipro spilled wider than Pripyat. And on the far right conversely, in 2013, the ice melted faster and filled the Pripyat river. In the center we see a images of the baseflow, the summer period when the water level was lowest and the river beds were at their lowest content.
