Description
Русский: Белозерск, Ризница Спасо-Преображенскаго собора, риза иконы св. Василия Великого. Описание из книги Макаренко, Н. Е. Путевые заметки и наброски о русском искусстве. — [Санкт-Петербург] : А. А. Жуков, 1914, со стр. 49: «Серебряная, золочёная риза на образе Св. Василия Великого, находящемся в ризнице Спасо-Преображенского собора города Белозерска. Серебряная риза с богатым чеканным орнаментом, по композиции орнамента и его обработке, по той, несколько суховатой, скучной трактовке, какая в достаточной степени здесь наблюдается, может быть отнесена к концу XVII или самому началу XVIII века. Все детали орнамента, как и общие его схемы — спирально изогнутые стебли, уснащённые отдельными группами акантового листа в форме, усвоенной русским искусством; гроздь, которой оканчивается этот стебель, а равно и грозди, вкраплённые в орнаментальную рамку, по краю иконы, типичны для XVII века. Но обработка слишком ровными плоскостями и резкими рёбрами каждого листика, обработка, исполненная с первого взгляда мастерской, уверенной рукой, на самом деле застывшей в своём, раз навсегда определённом движении, не ищущей красоты, в результатах бесконечных вибраций резца — указание на упадок технических средств, упадок, последовавший раньше в одной мастерской, позже — в другой. Обработка и рисунок Евангелия в руках святого, а равно и поле (земля), на котором стоит он с небрежно разбросанными тяжёлыми кистями, на тощих стеблях, не гармонируют со строгими формами и сочной обработкой композиции, обычно заполняющих поля в русском чеканном деле половины XVII века. Венчик мог быть приделан позже».

This work was published on territory of the Russian Empire (Russian Republic) except for territories of the Grand Duchy of Finland and Congress Poland before 7 November 1917 and wasn't re-published for 30 days following initial publications on the territory of Soviet Russia or any other countries.

  • in the case of of architecture erected in a country of the Union or other artistic works incorporated in a building or other structure located in a country of the Union, the country of origin shall be that country,
  • in the case of other works if the author is a national of a country of the Union¹, the country of origin shall be that country.

¹ - Author who is not a national of a country of the Union but who has his habitual residence in a country of the Union, be assimilated to national of that country.

The exclusive rights to this work do not extend on territory of the Russian Federation according to article 1256 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation (details), because this work does not meet the requirements on the territory of publication, on the author's nationality, and on obligations for international treaties.
