Description
Русский: Крупные голубоватые клетки - это алоиновые клетки суккулентного растения Aloe erinacea D.S.Hardy. Общая ширина алоиновых клеток 300 мкм. Впервые удалось хорошо окрасить эти тонкостенные клетки. Алоин - это горькое вещество желто-коричневого цвета, содержащееся в эксудате многих представителей рода Aloe.

Aloe erinacea является эндемиком Намибии. Популяция этого растения насчитывает всего около 350-400 растений.

Авторский постоянный препарат, полихромная окраска тканей. Световая микроскопия.
English: Aloin cells Aloe erinacea. Aloe erinacea is endemic to Namibia. It has a relatively wide extent of occurrence, but the population is highly fragmented. According to Jankowitz, the biggest population is on Namuskluft. The largest subpopulation is probably around 350–400 plants. Aloe erinacea is included on CITES Appendix II.
