Description
Ελληνικά: Το φρούριο της Βόιλας βρίσκεται 1χλμ μακριά από το χωριό του Χανδρά, στο πανέμορφο οροπέδιο των Αρμενοχανδράδων. Η Βόιλα ήταν ένα μικρό μεσαιωνικό χωριό, το οποίο έχει ερειπωθεί σήμερα, όπως πολλά χωριά στην περιοχή. Το φρούριο, σύμφωνα με τουρκική επιγραφή που υπάρχει εξωτερικά στον τοίχο του, κτίστηκε το 1740-1741. Εικάζεται ότι ιδρύθηκε από τον εξισλαμισμένο Ενετό άρχοντα, ο οποίος ανήκε στην οικογένεια των Ζένων, ενώ όταν εξισλαμίστηκε ονομάστηκε Τσιν Αλή ή Τζιναλής. Ο Τζιναλής είναι ιστορικό πρόσωπο και υπήρξε ένας από τους σκληρότερους γενίτσαρους της επαρχίας Σητείας.
