Description
English: Marble Roman sarcophagus, 2nd century AD, found in Ladokhori of Thesprotia, Epirus, Greece. The large façade depicts Achilles dragging Hector's body, and Priam offering him ransom for the body. The narrow façades depict a warrior getting ready and people mourning a dead soldier (Patroclus or Hector?) Archaeological Museum of Ioannina.
