English: The narrow gauge railway east of Gdańsk. Waiting for the narrow gauge train back to Nowy Dwór Gdański outside the museum of the former german Stutthof concentration camp. The man with white hair was a Polish mining engineer who was living in England and had lost (non Jewish) relatives in Stutthof. This railway has been threatened for many years but still clings on, serving several seaside resorts. |
