Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Künefe is a dish that seems to have originated from Hatay (or was developed rather from an Arab dish). I tasted it first in Edirne, at the other side of the country, and find shops selling it all over the country now. It is made of using kind of cheese, with at the bottom and top “kadayıf”. I think that was this man is handling. It reminded me of the “shredded wheat” I had in Liverpool, half a century earlier.

I have seen a lot of food being prepared, but am not much of a cook, and make mistakes. I do not recall seeing this made (as I did in Hatay). So please correct the name or text if this is another process in action.
