Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This bridge has an arch at the west side, stating (translated) that "The agreement that forced the French to leave the city in the struggle for the liberation of Sanliurfa was signed at the Millet Bridge on 10-04-1920." Karakoyun Deresi is a waterway with some historical bridges (much restored) and an aqueduct crossing it, with roads along it. When taking the picture it looked like a park and cultural centre in the making, I do not know what it is like now. Doing some searches on the web I found the bridges are often mistaken for the other one.
