Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Japanese hourglass drum. Slightly larger than the Kotsuzumi. The long strands of rope complete with tassels, draped onto the drum, serves as a decoration. The drumhead is showing signs of wear, but still good for another five or so sessions, I believe. This drum does not produce sonorous sounds like the smaller Kotsuzumi does; it actually produces high-pitched snapping sounds.
