English: On this picture we see how the road mentioned in the panoramic picture splits, take the left branch, that will shortly end at some gardens. There find your way.
The village of Ibrahimpaşa lies some distance from the main Nevşehir-Ürgüp road. It seems not to be amongst the must-see places in Cappadocia. To get a good impression drive all the way down the Ibrahimpaşa Köy Yolu (Ibrahimpaşa Village Road), that will get you to a square from where one should walk. The older part of the village is like a half moon around a valley. A bridge crosses a gulley, crossing that and continuing will provide fine vistas of the village at the housed side of the valley. One will see that apart from built houses there are rock dwellings also. Many of the houses have the typical decoration one sees all over Cappadocia and are a pleasure to see. |
