500px provided description: A small town in Iceland situated north of the country's largest natural lake, the ?ingvallavatn, of which this is a tiny offshoot. ?ingvellir National Park is also where the North American and the Eurasian tectonic plates meet. Supposedly you could touch both plates at the same time in a canyon a couple of hundred meters left of this pic's viewpoint. In the center is the town's church, occluded by a tree just left to those houses.

I don't know how accurate the coordinates are because the map on 500px is even worse than flickr's. Look for the bridge at 64.255837,-21.123202 in Google maps...
