Svenska: I augusti 1677 härjades Öland av danska och holländska trupper. Kartan visar socknar som rövades och brändes (rött), rövades men inte brändes (gult) och socknar som undgick fiendebesök (grönt). Informationen är hämtad från främst
Uppgifterna beträffande Köping är motsägelsefulla, men socknen tycks ha klarat sig relativt bra. Beträffande Algutsrum saknas uppgifter i nämnda böcker, men då befolkningen flydde, och kyrkoarkivet börjar just 1677, har jag antagit att också denna socken brändes.
