Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Grigore Forțu, Romanian teachers' union leader and fascist admirer, caricatured in the leftist review Viața Romînească. The title reads Îndoială... ("A Doubt..."). Forțu is holding up a pitcher, on his way to a puteal: "Let's see: just how many times over might you take to water?" The reference is to a Romanian proverb: "The pitcher will only take to water for so long" -- as in, "You can never fool all of the people all of the time."
