Description
Français : Surface d'une éponge d'eau douce dans l'Authie (dans la Région Hauts-de-France).
Remarque : Malgré plusieurs périodes de pluies dans les heures et jours ayant précédé cette photo l'eau est restée claire, les éponges contribuent à filtrer l'eau, mais pas en hiver pour certaines espèces comme spongilla lacustris. La couleur est claire car ce spécimen n'était pas exposé à la lumière (sauf pour la photo) mais il pourrait s'agir de Spongilla lacustris dont on distingue bien les gemmules en bas de l'image.

Note: Despite several rainy periods in the hours and days before this photo the water remained clear, the sponges help to filter the water, but not in winter for some species like spongilla lacustris.
