Summary

[edit]
Description
English: As the son cemaat yeri is wider here than the body of the mosque (probably for reasons of symmetry, because the minaret at the other side takes space) the window looks into the garden. Mosques often have a, generally columned, area in the front of the inner room, where latecomers to prayer or people who prefer to be outside can pray. The one in this mosque has extremely well done stone inlays, probably imported from Cairo by a man who was a governour there.
