Description
Svenska: Ånglok KLJ nr 2, 'Lessebo'. Loket kallas även "A. MALLET", vilket är namnet på skyltarna på sidorna. På skorstenen sitter siffran "2".Loket har ett delat, framtill vridbart, maskineri och fyra cylindrar. Spårvidd 600 mm, Tillverkarnummer Munktell 27, Största tillåtna hastighet 25 kph. Tendern saknas. Vid Kosta-Lessebo Järnvägs (KLJ) nedläggning 1948 såldes loket till Munkedals Järnväg (MJ) och fick litt MJ nr 4. Loket byggdes av Munktells i Eskilstuna 1891 efter ritningar från Decauville i Frankrike. Första svenskbyggda kompoundlok. Spårvidden, 600 mm, är den minsta som använts i Sverige för en järnväg med allmän trafik. Vid Kosta-Lessebo Järnvägs (KLJ) nedläggning 1948 såldes loket till Munkedals Järnväg (MJ) och fick litt MJ nr 4. Loket avställdes strax innan MJ blev ombyggd till normalspår. 1954 överlämnades loket till Järnvägsmuseum.
