Title
?Medieval copper alloy pendant
Description
English: A probable medieval copper alloy pendant. The pendant is in the form of a three dimensional acorn, with a 'cap' at the top and a small knop at the base. The top of the acorn is broken but there is a small circular depression where perhaps a suspension loop was once located. The acorn is similar to another found in Lincolnshire with a small loop at the top (LIN-500531). It is also somewhat similar to the acorn terminals seen on a dress accessory from London (ESS-10BC41).
