Description
English: Orchard Park, N.Y., native Sgt. 1st Class Jon Spiller, right, a flight medic for Company C, 2nd "Lobo" Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, walks his gear to the waiting UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter at Camp Taji, Iraq, Oct. 25. Spiller, along with about 11 other Soldiers from Co. C, the medical evacuation unit for Baghdad, are headed home as part of the first contingent of troopers from 1st ACB to redeploy back to the states. "I really think we made a difference over here. We helped out the best we could." I'll be happy when everybody gets home," Spiller said.
