English: 'The Long Pull', Broadstone Road Photographed in the summer of 1956.
An early licensee of this beer shop was known for his generosity when pulling pints into the customer's jugs, hence the shop became known among the villagers as 'The Long Pull'. The property has in the meantime been converted into apartments. |
