Summary

[edit]
Description

Bron: Wikipedia.

Love it or hate it, the blob has arrived in Eindhoven. The finishing touches are now (i.c. November 2009) being added to the 25 m high futuristic looking building in the centre of Eindhoven. Designed by award winning Italian Architect Massimiliano Fuksas, who also designed the new Piazza (glass canopy next to the Bijenkorf), the blob is the centre-piece of a complete re-development of the 18 Septemberplein, which includes two bicycle tunnels and a second smaller blob.
