Description
Deutsch: Ehemalige Restauration zur Eisenbahn - Georg Reinhard gegenüber Bhf. Diebach-Insingen, erbaut 1904-1905. An der Zugangsseite des Gasthauses zu erkennen ist eines der in den 1950er bis 1970er Jahren weit verbreiteten Emaille-Werbeschildes der Underberg-Magenbitter-Portionsflasche. Ausserdem konnten sich die Kinder durch Einwurf eines "Zehnerls" (10-Pfennig-Münze) eine bunte Kaugummikugel oder eine Pfefferminzdrops an zwei der typischen 1950er Jahre Kleinautomaten für Süssigkeiten herausdrehen oder drücken. Von einem noch unbelaubten Fliederbusch teilweise verdeckt ist links, über dem Rundbogenfenster des Nebenzimmers der südseitig angeschriebene Name des Gasthauses zu erkennen: Restauration zur Eisenbahn - Georg Reinhard. English: Former Restauration zur Eisenbahn - Georg Reinhard (Restaurant to the railroad - Georg Reinhard) opposite Diebach-Insingen station, built in 1904-1905. On the entrance side of the inn you can see one of the enamel advertising signs for the Underberg stomach bitters portion bottle, which were widely used from the 1950s to the 1970s. In addition, children could insert a "Zehnerl" (10-penny coin) to twist or squeeze a colorful ball of chewing gum or a peppermint drop from two of the typical 1950s vending machines for sweets. The name of the inn, written on the south side, can be seen on the left above the arched window of the adjoining room, partially obscured by an unleafy lilac bush: Restauration zur Eisenbahn - Georg Reinhard.
