Description

This is a case of 'what might have been'. I anticipated what might happen, but did not quite get the execution right. Still, it's not often that you see squirrels nose to nose, so I've uploaded it.

Photographed at the British Wildlife Centre, Newchapel, Surrey.

This was 'photo of the day' for the BBC Autumnwatch team, on 4th November 2010. Also featured on the BBC Autumnwatch 'Unsprung' programme of 11th November 2010.
