Description
English: Guy Janion Edwards and Arthur Noel Edwards, sons to Arthur Janion Edwards and Hilda Margaret, his wife, in Leaves from a Hunting Diary in Essex (1900). Arthur Edwards (1883–1915) became an international polo player who later was a captain in the 9th Queen's Royal Lancers, and died in the First World War in 1915 as the result of a poison gas attack by the Germans during the Second Battle of Ypres. His memorial is within The Church of the Holy Innocents at High Beach, his home village. Guy Edwards (1881–1962) was an English cricketer active in 1907.
