Summary
[edit]Description'Down' train arriving at Bradford on Avon Station - geograph.org.uk - 1442796.jpg |
English: 'Down' train arriving at Bradford on Avon Station The announcer (a disembodied voice) declared this to be a train to Cardiff. In the background is a train on the line to London. There are several bridges to be seen here: the nearest is the Frome Road bridge, built in 1848 and rebuilt in 1974, the next one being the Trowbridge Road bridge, built the same year and rebuilt as early 1890, while the 'bridge' in the background is really a short tunnel, also dating from 1848. |
