Summary

[edit]
Description
English: 'Dead Men's Fingers' in Red Wharf Bay Thanks to Martyn Gorman for identifying this as likely to be a piece of "Alycyonium digitatum, commonly known as 'Dead men's fingers' that has been washed up from deeper waters. Alycyonium is a soft coral, a colonial coelenterate and related to sea anemones." An academic paper found on the internet confirms that it can be found in the Irish Sea.
