English: Rusting barge at Porth Penrhyn Most unlikely to move. Indeed I am obliged to Chris Andrews for the following snippet of information:-I just thought that you may like to know that the barge is actually concrete. It was one of many that was used as a mooring point in the deep water anchorage between the pier and Menai Bridge. My brother placed it there on the instruction of the harbour master many years ago. The aim was to give some protection to boats moored on that side. |
