Description
English: Print of a military camp scene and town. "WAYNESVILLE, MO. CAMP OF THE 5TH (formerly 13th) REGIMENT CAVALRY M. S. M." (printed on and below image). Written on back of print: "Built late 1861 or 62 on hill s. of Waynesville; post had control of several counties and was pt. of supply escort line from Rolla to Lebanon to troops of the s.w.; commanding officer was Col. Albert Sigel; main action against "Bushwackers (sic)."
