Quiet revolution, sshh... the colours whisper a protest.

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Silent Protest" is a thought-provoking artwork created by me, Griffins Bakhuya(Gri4) with fond collage newspaper cuttings(basing on information regarding gender violence) and paint as the medium. Through a combination of striking colors and a somber portrayal of a swahili coastal female figure from where I reside , the art depicts a silent protest against societal norms, inequality, or injustice that are oppressing the girl child . The muted colors(red and umber) and somber atmosphere serve as a symbol of quiet resistance, conveying the message of opposition without the need for loud or violent expression...My piece is aiming at grabbing attention of both the young and the old in order to spread gender equality and sense of belonging to all.
