The home of BUTLER'S ALES Pride of the Midlands" There isn't much left now of the former Springfield Brewery, following a fire after preservation orders had been acquired. The brewery opened in 1874 and closed in 1991. This twelve acre (nearly five hectare) brown field site formerly the GWR track into Low level Station) is again for sale "for mixed development".
