Description
Español: Estas muñecas empezaron a representar a las mujeres mazahuas que solían recorrer las calles de la ciudad de México y a quienes se les llamaba "Marías". Se dice inclusive que esta es la razón por la que las muñecas, con listones de colores e indumentarias típicas de la región, se ganaran el nombre de "muñecas María".
