Español: En Chile, Junio 1969, el gobierno de Eduardo Frei declaró fuera de la ley al Movimiento de Iquierda Revolucionaria (MIR). Una orden nacional de detención fue publicada para el aprehesamiento de trece dirigentes del MIR, los que fueron forzados a vivir en clandestinidad. Hacia julio 1969 varios en la lista habían sido capturados y encarcelados. El 3 de agosto 1969 el diario La Patria escribe: "Marcello Ferrada Noli, profesor de filosofía y miembro del Consejo Superior de de la universidad [Universidad de Concepción]...fue detenido cuando regresaba a Concepción desde la ciudad de Los Ángeles. – Ferrada Noli, uno de los cerebros del MIR universitario, tenía orden de detención desde mediados de junio."
American English: In Chile, June 1969, the government of Eduardo Frei declared the MIR outlawed (MIR = Movement of the Revolutionary Left). A national arrest warrant was published for the arrest of thirteen MIR leaders, who were forced to live clandestinely. By July 1969 several on the list had been captured and imprisoned. On August 3, 1969, the newspaper La Patria announced the capture of Marcello Ferrada de Noli. Texts from the article: "Marcello Ferrada Noli, professor of philosophy and member of the Superior Council of the university [Universidad de Concepción]...was detained when he returned to Concepción from the city of Los Angeles. – Ferrada Noli, one of the brains of the MIR at the university, had an arrest warrant since mid-June."
