English: "Blanking off" in High Drive Wood Like a coiled spring, the Spaniel and a beater await the main thrust of the beaters who will shortly arrive. The former are stationed here to encourage the driven birds to get airborne to provide a more sporting presentation for the guns which in this instance are positioned away below on the old disused railway track which lies to the west of Bogawood Wood. |
