Notes to the contesters
- Please be respectful and considerate of fellow photographers and others.
- If you are photographing inside a building, stop immediately if asked. Some places prohibit indoor photography, but in others you may be allowed to continue if you ask permission.
- Do not encroach on private property (it is completely acceptable to take photos while standing in a public place such as the street).
- As far as possible, avoid photographing vehicles, and in particular vehicle license plates.
- Please do not upload photographs of posters, billboards, or anything else that contains text or two-dimensional images that may be copyrightable. This even applies to text or images that are in a public place and everyone takes a picture of. Old murals in churches are fine, as are photos of stained glass windows of any date.
