  •  Oppose Just until we have response from Archaeodontosaurus. I didn't make myself clear, sorry. I was using the UK as an example only. I am trying to establish the law in Ecuador (if any) that was in force on the collection date. If there was a law, then we need proof of the permission granted for collection for scientific purposes, permission to export and possibly permission to import into France. The Museum will obviously have all this documentation and should be prepared to share it. It will establish a process for future VI egg nominations for others. • I'm not going to fight about it, because I trust you, but I think my request is a reasonable one. These days, the provenance of collections in museums is rightly under much greater scrutiny and museums should be transparent. It would be sad if it emerged that some eggs were collected illicitly in the Galapagos in the 1980s. You might have to destroy part of the collection. --Charles (talk) 10:09, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
