Scope | Nominated as the most valued image on Commons within the scope: André Soudy, photograph |
Used in | fr:André Soudy, fr:Bande à Bonnot |
Reason | Exceptional source. Best picture we have of André Soudy, one of the members of the en:Bande à Bonnot, an anarchist and very violent gang of the beginning of the 20th-century. Soudy never killed anybody, but he was involved in many bloody bank robberies or attacks. With two other accomplices, he was executed by guillotine in april 1913, aged 21. Picture taken by en:Alphonse Bertillon. Restored by me. One can find the original picture as first upload of this file. No geocode, it is a studio shot. -- Jebulon (talk) |
