Scope | Nominated as the most valued image on Commons within the scope: Tiburtine Sibyl |

Reason | The mythic meeting of Caesar Augustus with the Tiburtine Sibyl later reinterpreted as a Christian theme became a favored motif of artists. This nomination as suggested, and because this derivated work from a Nuremberg Chronicle image may nicely and adequately illustrate the scope. At the review size, it is clearer than the painting by the Master of Tiburtine Sibyl. --Myrabella (talk) 16:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC) -- Myrabella (talk) |
