Scope | Nominated as the most valued image on Commons within the scope: Roskilde Cathedral Margrethe spire |
Used in | Global usage |
Reason | Roskilde Cathedral is a World Heritage site with many elements built in different architectural styles and from many periods. Thus, the rather detailed scope of a single spire, whose erection relates to the burial of Queen Margareth I of Denmark in the church in the 14th-century. The present spire is a reconstruction from 1968 though, where a fire emerged in in the roof section of the cathedral, which greatly damaged the original spire. I believe the evening light here is very good, and the moon doesn't hurt, does it? -- Slaunger (talk) |
Review (criteria) |
Comment The moon is distorted, change the ratio of the sides, it seems to me that with a width of 1901 - the height of 4500 pixels will be good. --Jacek Halicki (talk) 18:56, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
